Twin Forks Trail at East Fork Recreation Area, Murfreesboro, TN
Twin Forks trail is flat with plenty of shade. When the leaves are off the trees you can see the Stones River and cliffs from the trail. We will ride toward Walter Hill and will stop at Laney Ware’s house for lunch which is adjacent to the trail. Laney will provide a lite lunch and drinks. There will be picket lines, water buckets, and water troughs ready for your horses. After lunch we will ride back to the East Fork Recreation parking area.
Directions: From Murfreesboro take 840 toward Lebanon. Take exit 57 Sulphur Springs Road. Turn west (left) on Sulphur Springs and go seven tenths of a mile and turn right on Buckeye Valley. Travel 3 miles to East Fork Recreation Area.
